Description
Calmasol-204 is a well-balanced solution for the treatment of acute hypocalcaemic conditions in cattle, calves horses, foals sheep, pigs, dogs and cats. Hypocalcaemia frequently occurs in these animals and is often accompanied by metabolic disorders. The decisive advantage of calcium gluconate is its excellent tissue-tolerance. The animal's heart is protected against the cardiotoxic effects of calcium during intravenous application by the addition of magnesium.
Calmasol-204 is also excellent as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of milk fever, stress syndrome, prenatal and postpartum paraplegia and allergies in cattle, calves, horses, foals, pigs, sheep, dogs and cats.
Indications
Calmasol-204 is indicated for the treatment of milk fever, prenatal and postpartum paraplegia, stress disorder and allergic reactions in cattle, calves, horses, foals, pigs, sheep, dogs and cats.
Contra indications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.

Dosage
For administration by slow intravenous, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal or intramuscular injection:
Horses and cattle: 250 ml
Calves, foals, pigs and sheep: 50 – 150 ml
Dogs and cats: 15 – 50 ml
Note: Upon recommendation of a veterinarian, the product can be administered repeatedly.
