Composition

    10 mg

Description

Ivermectin belongs to the group of avermectins and acts against roundworms and parasites.

Indications

Treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworm infections, lice, oestriasis and scabies in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and pigs.

Contraindications

Administration to lactating animals.

Side Effects

When ivermectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time.
Free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and some water born organisms on which they feed.


Precautions:

Do not use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.
Do not permit water runoff from feedlots to enter lakes, streams or ponds.
Do not contaminate water by direct application or the improper disposal of drug containers.
Dispose of containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.



Dosage

For subcutaneous administration.

Cattle, calves, sheep and goats:
1 ml per 50 kg body weight.

Pigs:
1 ml per 33 kg body weight.

Withdrawal Times

- For meat
  Cattle, calves, sheep and goats: 28 days.
  Pigs: 21 days.

Not for use in non-lactating dairy cows, including pregnant heifers within 60 days of calving.
Not for use in lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.




Packaging

Bottles of 10 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml, 250 ml and 500 ml.
