Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by flumequine-sensitive microorganisms, like Campylobacter spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp. and Salmonella spp. in calves, lambs, kids, swine and poultry.
Hypersensitivity to flumequine.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
For oral administration.
Calves, lambs and kids:
6 g of Flumesol-200 WS per 100 kg body weight (equivalent to 12 mg of flumequine / kg of body weight) once for 3 - 5 days, in (artificial) milk.
Swine:
1 kg of Flumesol-200 WS per 1300 litres of drinking water (equivalent to 15 mg of flumequine / kg of body weight) once for 3 - 5 days.
Poultry:
1 kg of Flumesol-200 WS per 2000 litres of drinking water (equivalent to 12 mg of flumequine / kg of body weight) once for 3 - 5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.
- For meat:
Calves, lambs, kids and swine : 8 days.
Poultry: 3 days.
