Norfloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and has bactericidal action against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., and Mycoplasma spp.
Hypersensitivity to norfloxacin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Administration to juvenile animals can lead to arthropathy.
For oral administration.
Calves, sheep and goats: Twice daily, 10 ml per 75 - 150 kg body weight for 3 - 5 days.
Swine: 1 litre per 1000 – 3000 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Poultry: 1 litre per 1500 – 4000 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.

Poultry: 12 days.
