Tiasan-100 is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tiamulin-sensitive microorganisms, including porcine dysentery caused by Brachyspira spp. and complicated by Fusobacterium spp. and Bacteroides spp., enzootic pneumonia complex of pigs and mycoplasmal arthritis in pigs.
Erythema or mild oedema of the skin may occur in pigs following intramuscular administration of Tiasan-100. When polyether ionophores such as monensin, narasin and salinomycin are administered during or at least seven days before or after treatment with Tiasan-100, severe growth depression or even death may occur.
For intramuscular administration.
Do not administer more than 3.5 ml per injection site.
Pigs:
1 ml per 5 - 10 kg body weight for 3 days.
