Description
Intromin Copper Chelate is a nutritional oral liquid containing chelated copper. Chelated copper is easy to absorb and can be simple administered through drinking water. Intromin Copper Chelate is mainly used to correct copper deficiency. Copper has beneficial effects on animal health and is a cofactor for many enzyme systems. Furthermore, copper can reduce the chance of infections, improves feed conversion and stimulates growth.
Indications
Contra indications
Administration to ovine species and calves.
Admininistration to animals with a seriously impaired hepatic and /or renal function.
Concurrent administration of other forms of copper treatment or supplementation.
Side effects
Dosage
For oral administration to adult cattle, goats, poultry and swine.
The dosage and frequency of therapy required depends on the clinical condition and copper status of the animal as assessed by blood and liver levels both before and after therapy.
General:
100 ml Intromin Copper Chelate per 1000 - 4000 litres of drinking water (2.5 - 10 ppm).
Note: Only for use when there is a confirmed copper deficiency.
High dietary levels of Molybdenum and Sulphur reduce Copper bioavailability.
Do not mix Intromin Copper Chelate with other medicines.
