Zusammensetzung
- Tylosin base – 200 mg.
Beschreibung
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic with a bacteriostatic action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and Treponema spp.
Indikationen
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by tylosin-sensitive microorganisms like Campylobacter spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. and Treponema spp. in cattle, calves, sheep, goats and swine.Gegenanzeigen
Hypersensitivity to tylosin.
Concurrent administration of penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserine.
Nebenwirkungen
After intramuscular administration local reactions can occur, which disappear in a few days.
Diarrhoea, epigastric pain and skin sensitization can occur.
Dosierung
For intramuscular administration.
General:
1 ml per 10 - 20 kg body weight for 3 - 5 days.
Wartezeiten
- For meat: 10 days.
- For milk: 3 days.
