Calcium is provided by the calcium-borogluconate complex, which is obtained from the reaction between calcium gluconate and boric acid; phosphorus is provided by phosphorylcholamine and magnesium by chloride salt. In addition to the direct action on the balance of ions, phosphorus exerts a tonic and energetic action together with sorbitol, which in turn detoxifies substances in the liver. This allows a set of effective therapeutic effects in the prenatal and postpartum states and is useful for obtaining a general restorative effect.
Calmasol-204, unlike other calcium products, can be injected intramuscularly.
Calmasol-204 is indicated for the general stimulation of the body, treatment and prophylaxis of postpartum paresis, prenatal and postpartum paraplegia, transport fever and allergic reactions in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
No side effects are known for this product.
Calmasol-204, when warmed to body temperature, can be administered by slow intravenous, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal or intramuscular injection.
