Cases of hypersensitivity to colistin and/or any of the excipients.
Administration to animals with seriously impaired renal functions or with an active microbial digestion.
Administration in subtherapeutic doses or in cases of resistance to colistin.
Digestive alterations may appear, such as intestinal dysbiosis, accumulation of gases or mild diarrhoea. Overdoses may result in renal failure.
For oral administration.
Calves, sheep and goats:
Twice daily 1 ml per 40 kg body weight for 5 - 7 days.
Swine and poultry:
1 litre per 2000 - 4000 litres of drinking water for 5 - 7 days.
Only sufficient medicated drinking water should be prepared to cover daily requirements. Medicated drinking water should be replaced every 24 hours.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.
